Sydney Office Mural

This memorable Sydney city map mural features the inner west suburbs of Sydney with hand drawn city streets and harbour. This is my second office mural for my wonderful client George and his real estate business, Boutique Residential. Read more below on the inspiration behind this mural.

Creativity meets craftsmanship in this bespoke wallpaper mural commissioned by George for his business in Glebe's heritage-listed Valhalla building. The wallpaper mural celebrates the spirit of place for real estate company, Boutique Residential, showcasing the area and people it serves.
Stretching an impressive 7 meters in width and 2.5 meters in height, this mural is the largest watercolour map mural I have completed to date. With meticulous attention to detail, my hand-drawn city map of Sydney comes to life against a beautitful hand painted watercolour backdrop.

A burst of vibrant orange brings energy to the entry way and seamlessly integrates the hues of George's logo and branding for Boutique Residential. This considered infusion of colour adds life and movement to the artwork while reinforcing the client's brand identity, creating a cohesive and impactful design statement. The watercolour palette also gives a nod to the green Valhalla facade and complements the existing warm timber flooring, floor-to-ceiling bronze mirrors and the lush greenery visible through the office window.

From conception to execution, this project is a testament to collaboration between artist and client, demonstrating the potential of creativity to elevate environments and evoke emotion.
It was a joy to work with such a fun, energetic and innovative business owner who allowed me to develop a design direction and vision, actively participated in the design process and trusted me to bring it to life.
